Wyndham Clark Team USA jersey

When walking up to “The Rink” at the 2026 Canadian Open, pro golfer Wyndham Clark knew what had to be done.

On Saturday, during Round 3 of the tournament, the American took to the tee rocking a Jack Hughes Team USA Olympic hockey jersey.

The outfit earned Clark some strong jeers from the Canadian fans in attendance, who may still be thinking about Team USA’s overtime victory over Team Canada in the gold medal game at the 2026 Winter Olympics.

Clark accepted the playful taunts from the crowd, egging on the viewers by pointing to the “J. Hughes” nameplate on the back of the sweater.

He went on to birdie the hole.

Hole 14 at the TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley, called “The Rink,” is known for its hockey flare, running authentic hockey boards along the hole from the tee to the green.

And, yes, there’s a Zamboni.

Players and fans alike often play into the hockey theme, singing “O Canada” and repping hockey jerseys during play.
