Storm Surge Kids Hurricanes

The Hurricanes may have performed the smallest Storm Surge of all time on Sunday. And it was definitely the cutest.

It was Kids Day at Lenovo Center, featuring an earlier puck drop and in-arena jobs all being performed by children, from PA announcing to helping with pregame tasks.

So, at the end of it, Hurricanes players got their own kids involved.

Their job? The Storm Surge.

Players carried their kids out to center ice to take part in the regular victory tradition for the defending Stanley Cup champions.

To the delight of the crowd, it was executed perfectly, even if it was a little lower to the ground than usual.
