THE FANTASTIC FOUR
The Jets got some great news this morning when it was confirmed that Nikolaj Ehlers, Blake Wheeler, Nate Schmidt and Cole Perfetti all got the green light to return to the lineup. Ehlers hasn't played since the second game of the season, Wheeler and Schmidt have missed the last nine games and Perfetti sat out for five. There was a buzz is the Jets dressing room with the return of the four players plus the opponent they are facing tonight, the Tampa Bay Lightning.
"The guys that are coming back are very excited to get back," said Rick Bowness after the morning skate.
"And also, the guys who are here are excited to have them back."

ALL-STAR MORRISSEY
To no one's surprise, Josh Morrissey was named an All-Star yesterday thanks to his incredible start to the season. He has a point in 31 of his 38 games this season and hasn't gone consecutive games without a point. Morrissey is second in the NHL among defencemen in scoring, while his 36 assists rank second among NHL defencemen and fifth overall.
The Jets defenceman gave credit to Bowness, who was the first person to tell him the good news.
"From the summer when he was hired, he has been pushing all of us and myself included to keep challenging and pushing our games forward," said Morrissey.
"So, it was pretty cool for him to tell me that."
TAMPA MISSING A KEY PIECE
The Lightning dropped the second game of their three-game road trip in St. Paul the other night, 5-1. Right after the loss, star defenceman Victor Hedman returned back to the Tampa Bay to be with his wife for the birth of their second child. Hedman will be replaced on the Lightning's first power play unit by Mikhail Sergachev. On top of that, Andrei Vasilevskiy skated this morning, but head coach Jon Cooper said that the goaltender will be a game time decision. Brian Elliott would get the start if Vasilevskiy can't go against the Jets tonight.
