Neighbours, Thomas earn 3 points each in a 6-3 win

Marc-Andre Fleury allowed two goals on 17 shots in his Chicago Blackhawks debut, a 6-3 preseason loss to the St. Louis Blues at United Center in Chicago on Friday.

Fleury's failed clearing attempt led to Pavel Buchnevich's goal that gave the Blues a 2-0 lead in the second period. The three-time Stanley Cup winner, who was traded to the Blackhawks by the Vegas Golden Knights on July 27, played into the second period.
Jake Neighbours and Robert Thomas each had a goal and two assists, Buchnevich had a goal and an assist, and Vladimir Tarasenko scored for the Blues. Jordan Binnington saved 18 of 20 shots playing the first two periods, and Colten Ellis made six saves.
Alex DeBrincat had a goal and an assist, and Patrick Kane had an assist in his first game of the preseason for the Blackhawks. Collin Delia made 19 saves.
Seth Jones played 25:09 and had one hit, one shot and one blocked shot in his Chicago debut after being traded from the Columbus Blue Jackets on July 23. The defenseman signed an eight-year, $76 million contract extension ($9.5 average annual value) five days later.
