GAME RECAP

CHI: 1, ARI: 0

1st - 1:15 - Dylan Strome (Alex DeBrincat)

Following the pregame festivities, Dylan Strome wasted no time carrying the energy into the game with his 20th of the season to open the scoring just 1:15 in. Alex DeBrincat gloved down a Coyotes clearance in the neutral zone and quickly fed Strome at the blue line in transition back the other way. Strome walked into the Coyotes end and rang a wrister off the right elbow of the net and in for a 1-0 lead.

2nd - 6:25 - Michael Carcone (Anton Strallman)

Arizona tied the game with a picked-off clear of their own in the second period as Anton Strallman kept a puck in along the boards in the Blackhawks end and quickly found Michael Carcone in the slot. The winger deflected the hard pass from Strallman just under the bar for a 1-1 tie.

CHI: 1, ARI: 2

2nd - 10:01 - Travis Boyd (Shayne Gostisbehere, Dysin Mayo)

The Coyotes took the lead at the midpoint of the night again in transition. Shayne Gostisbehere collected the puck in his own end and walked through the natural zone with speed before finding Travis Boyd in the high slot. Boyd pulled a move to get around a red jersey in front before placing a point-blank shot into the top corner for a 2-1 game.

3rd - 5:33 - Patrick Kane (Seth Jones, Alex DeBrincat) -- PP

Chicago pulled back even in the third period on the power play. Seth Jones left a puck for Patrick Kane, who wheeled up to the point and then down into the high slot before putting a wrister through a Dylan Strome screen in front for a 2-2 score.
