The Iowa Wild, Minnesota Wild's American Hockey League affiliate, earned points in all three contests last week (0-0-3). The Wild ranks fourth in the AHL in power-play percentage (21.9) this season, fifth in penalty kill percentage (83.7), T-5th in shorthanded goals (8) and T-7th in points.

Iowa fell in its first game of the week with a 5-4 shootout loss against Rockford Saturday at BMO Harris Bank Center (2/16). F Gerald Mayhew lead the Wild with three points (1- 2=3). D Matt Bartkowski (0-2=2), F J.T. Brown (1-1=2) and D Brennan Menell (1-1=2) tallied two points apiece. G Kaapo Kahkonen made 31 saves through overtime and stopped two of-three shootout attempts. The Wild dropped its second game of the week with a 2-1 overtime loss against the Wolves Sunday at Allstate Arena (2/17). Brown netted the sole goal for Iowa with assists from D Nate Prosser and F Mason Shaw. G C.J. Motte stopped 11-of- 13 shots. Iowa earned its final point of the week with a 2-1 overtime loss against Texas Tuesday at Wells Fargo Arena (2/19). F Kyle Rau scored the tying goal in regulation with assists from F Matt Read and D Michael Kapla. Kahkonen stopped 35-of-37 shots through overtime.
Mayhew (18-20=38) and F Cal O'Reilly (8-30=38) lead Iowa with 38 points each this season. Rau ranks third with 31 points (15-16=31) in 46 games and ranks T-7th in the AHL in PPG (10) and T-14th in shots (137). Read ranks fourth with 28 points (13-15=28) in 47 games. G Andrew Hammond is 11-7-1 with a 2.74 GAA, a .912 SV% and one shutout in 19 games this season. Kahkonen is 15-9-6 with a 2.56 GAA, a .912 SV% and five shutouts in 30 games and ranks second amongst League goalies in shutouts, 10th in GAA, T-10th in SV% and T-15th in wins.
