VS. LA

The Blackhawks and Kings will play for the first time since Nov. 2, 2019 when the clubs met in Los Angeles. The Kings won in overtime that evening as Dominik Kubalik and Jonathan Toews scored two of Chicago's three markers.
Kubalik, originally drafted by the Kings in the seventh round (191st overall) of the 2013 NHL Draft, was traded to the Blackhawks by Los Angeles for a fifth-round pick in the 2019 draft on Jan. 24, 2019. Thursday's game will be the first that former Blackhawk Olli Maatta faces his old team after being dealt to LA on Oct. 4, 2020.
The Blackhawks have points in five of their last six matchups against Los Angeles.

RADDYSH OFF AND RUNNING

Taylor Raddysh picked up a power-play marker for the second consecutive game last night against the Ducks. They are his first two career power-play goals and it is the second time this year he has registered goals in consecutive games (Dec. 4 and 5).
He scored his first goal as a Blackhawk and added an assist for his third multi-point effort of the year on Sunday against the Jets. The Caledon, Ontario native logged a career-high five hits in 15:03 of ice time during his team debut on Saturday in Minnesota after coming over from the Lightning on Friday.

KANE YOU BELIEVE IT

Patrick Kane scored his 20th goal of the season on Wednesday night and reached the 20-goal plateau for the 14th time in his career, tying Stan Mikita for the most such seasons in Blackhawks history. The only active player with more 20-goal seasons is Alex Ovechkin (17). It's also the third most among American born players in NHL history.
Kane had a helper on Seth Jones' marker on Saturday to reach the 50-assist plateau for the eighth time in his NHL career. He became the third player in franchise history to record eight or more 50-assist seasons with Chicago, joining Denis Savard (9x) and Stan Mikita (8x).
The winger has 27 points (8G, 19A) over his last 13 games and is tied for the NHL lead in points during that span (since. Feb. 20). He is the only player averaging over two points per game in that time frame (2.08).

CAT ATTACK

With his 35th marker of the 2021-22 campaign on Wednesday, Alex DeBrincat joined Denis Savard (4 times), Jeremy Roenick (4x), Steve Larmer (3x), Bobby Hull and Al Secord as the only players to record multiple career 35+ goal seasons with the Blackhawks before turning 25. He registered a Blackhawks' season-long five-game goal streak from March 3-10. His 35 goals share sixth in the NHL and his 12 power-play tallies share 11th.

STROME RUN

Dylan Strome extended his point streak (2G, 3A) to three games with his second straight multi-point game on Wednesday night. He has points in nine of his last 10 games as he registered a career-long six-game point streak (7G, 4A) from March 3-12. Strome's previous career-long point streak came from Feb. 2-12, 2019 (five games).
Strome matched a career high with 14 faceoff wins on Wednesday evening. The other two instances came on Jan. 22, 2022 at MIN and Oct. 16, 2018 at MIN as a member of the Arizona Coyotes. It was the 13th time during the 2021-22 campaign he has won 10 or more draws in a game.
