The Blackhawks close out their home slate of games on Wednesday night as the Vegas Golden Knights visit the United Center for the first time this season.
Chicago could play playoff spoiler for Vegas, who needs to close out the season with a pair of wins to remain in the hunt. A win in any fashion by the Blackhawks would eliminate the Golden Knights from the postseason for the first time in franchise history.

VS. VEGAS

Chicago and Vegas meet for the third and final time this season -- both previous meetings coming in the desert. Chicago took a 2-1 victory on Jan. 8 and fell in overtime on March 26, 5-4.
The Blackhawks racked up a franchise-record 46 hits on March 26 in Las Vegas. Chicago's previous single-game high was 45 hits which they logged on Oct. 27, 2019 against LA. Reese Johnson paced the club with eight hits of his own in the overtime defeat. Alex DeBrincat (1G, 1A), Jonathan Toews (1G, 1A) and Patrick Kane (2A) paced the Blackhawks with two points in that contest.
Kane has 10 points (2G, 8A) in his last eight games against Vegas. DeBrincat has nine points (4G, 5A) in his last nine games against the Golden Knights, including four multi-point efforts. Dylan Strome has points in six of his last eight games against the Golden Knights, including two multi-point performances.

CAT ATTACK

Alex DeBrincat matched a career best with his 41st tally of the year, and in the process posted a new season high with 77 points on Monday against the Flyers. He also recorded 41 markers during the 2018-19 season. His 77 points top his career mark, also set during the 2018-19 campaign (76).
DeBrincat notched three takeaways on Monday to add to his career-high with 65 this year. That total is 11th in the NHL.
He is the fourth player in team history to have had multiple 40-goal seasons before turning 25: Jeremy Roenick (4x), Al Secord (2x) and Steve Larmer (2x).. He is the eighth player overall in franchise history to register multiple 40-goal seasons.
His four markers in overtime this year are a new career high and share the league lead.

CONSISTENT KANE

Patrick Kane registered the 750th assist of his career on Monday night and matched his career high with 66 assists that he set during the 2018-19 season. Kane notched his 430th career goal on April 21 against Los Angeles to pass Bill Guerin for sixth among U.S.-born skaters in NHL history. He reached the 90-point mark for the third time in his career with two helpers against the Coyotes on April 20.
Kane ended March with 26 points (5G, 21A), the most points by a Blackhawk in a single calendar month of March, besting Jeremy Roenick's 24 points in 1994.

MULTI-TASKING

Jonathan Toews scored his 12th goal of the season and added a helper on Monday, registering his 210th career multi-point effort. Only five Blackhawks have posted more multi-point games: Stan Mikita (403), Denis Savard (326), Patrick Kane (314), Bobby Hull (312) and Steve Larmer (256).
