Anders Lee scored in his first game since March 11 for the New York Islanders, a 3-0 preseason win against the Philadelphia Flyers at Webster Bank Arena in Bridgeport, Connecticut, on Tuesday.
Lee, who missed the final two months of the regular season and the entire 2021 Stanley Cup Playoffs because of a knee injury, gave the Islanders a 2-0 lead at 19:05 of the first period. He skated on their top forward line with Mathew Barzal and Kyle Palmieri. Cory Schneider made 24 saves for the shutout, and Anthony Beauvillier and Josh Bailey scored power-play goals for New York. Martin Jones made 28 saves for Philadelphia.
