Brandon Biro scored two goals to help the Buffalo Sabres to a 2-1 win against the Philadelphia Flyers at KeyBank Center in Buffalo on Tuesday.
Craig Anderson started and made eight saves on nine shots in 30:02 for Buffalo. Malcolm Subban made 12 saves in relief. Travis Konecny scored for Philadelphia. Troy Grosenick made 12 saves on 14 shots over the first two periods. Samuel Ersson made seven saves in the third period. Biro scored on a shot from the slot at 8:24 of the first period to give the Sabres a 1-0 lead. Konecny tied it 1-1 on a breakaway at 14:42, but Biro scored again at 8:57 of the second period for the 2-1 final.
