'NHL's Who Wore It Best?,' Team North America reunion premiere this week

NEW YORK/TORONTO - The National Hockey League (NHL®) will celebrate the game's best players, past and present, in two new content offerings this week - "NHL's Who Wore It Best?" and the virtual reunion of six members of Team North America.

"NHL's Who Wore It Best?" will feature hockey writers, broadcasters and insiders debating the best players to wear each jersey number in NHL history. Produced and distributed by NHL Original Productions, the five-week series will premiere in its weekly timeslot on Friday, May 15, at 5 p.m. ET on Sportsnet; NHL.com; and the NHL's YouTube, Facebook and IGTV platforms. NBCSN and NHL Network will air the series every Tuesday at 5 p.m. ET and 9:30 p.m. ET, respectively, starting May 19. Watch the promo

Each episode will focus on a series of jersey numbers, assessed numerically in descending order. The top vote-getters will be revealed for each jersey number, with a deep dive into certain results led by a three-person panel comprised of two hockey broadcasters, moderated by NHL Network host Tony Luftman. The finalists for each number were chosen by a panel of 19 NHL.com writers. The active or retired player with the most votes for each jersey number will be up for debate during the series. NHL.com will feature detailed information on each jersey number as an online companion to the series.

Episode 1: 99-61
NHL.com's Nick Cotsonika will reveal the top vote-getters. NBC Sports' Pierre McGuire and Sportsnet's Brian Burke will debate the best players to wear Nos. 92, 91, 88, 81 and 77.

Episode 2: 60-31
NHL.com's Nick Cotsonika will reveal the top vote-getters. NBC Sports' Keith Jones and Sportsnet's Kelly Hrudey will debate the best players to wear Nos. 55, 40, 34, 32 and 31.

Episode 3: 30-21
NHL.com's Dave Stubbs will reveal the top vote-getters. NBC Sports' Patrick Sharp and Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman will debate the best players to wear Nos. 28, 27, 26, 25 and 21.

Episode 4: 20-11
NHL.com's Dave Stubbs will reveal the top vote-getters. NBC Sports' Keith Jones and Sportsnet's Kelly Hrudey will debate the best players to wear Nos. 19, 18, 16, 14 and 13.

Episode 5: 10-1
NHL.com's Dave Stubbs will reveal the top vote-getters. NBC Sports' Pierre McGuire and Sportsnet's Brian Burke will debate the best players to wear Nos. 9, 7, 3, 2 and 1.

Team North America Reunion

Starting Monday, May 18, Sportsnet will re-air select games of the World Cup of Hockey 2016. In anticipation, six members of Team North America - Jack Eichel, Aaron Ekblad, Dylan Larkin, Ryan Murray, Vincent Trocheck and Jacob Trouba - reunited to discuss the tournament and the team's run that captivated fans, media and fellow players. The reunion, hosted by Sportsnet's Jeff Marek, will air on Thursday, May 14, at 6 p.m. ET on Sportsnet ONE and Sportsnet NOW and at 7 p.m. ET on NHL.com and the NHL's YouTube, Facebook and IGTV platforms.

NHL Hat Trick Trivia™ Hosted by P.K. Subban

Episode six of "NHL Hat Trick Trivia™ Hosted by P.K. Subban," will feature appearances by Hockey Hall of Famer and Los Angeles Kings president Luc Robitaille; Winnipeg Jets defenseman Josh Morrissey; model Camille Kostek; and series regular and NHL referee Wes McCauley.
