Neal Pionk scored 1:20 into overtime to give the New York Rangers a 4-3 win against the New Jersey Devils at Prudential Center on Monday.

Rookie forward Lias Andersson scored two goals for New York. Pavel Buchnevich also scored. Starting goalie Alexandar Georgiev made 16 saves on 18 shots in 36:48, and Marek Mazanec made eight saves in relief.
Nick Lappin scored two goals for the Devils. Rookie forward John Quenneville also scored. Starting goalie Keith Kinkaid made 14 saves on 16 shots in 39:40, and Cameron Johnson made 10 saves in relief.
