Aleksander Barkov had three assists, and Carter Verhaeghe had a goal and an assist for Florida. Anthony Duclair (2:36) and Verhaeghe (7:25) each scored a power-play goal in the second period, giving the Panthers a 2-0 lead. Egor Afanasyev cut it to 2-1 with 2:03 left in the second. Montour made it 3-1 at 10:22 of the third period. Spencer Knight made 29 saves for Florida. David Rittich made 27 saves in his Nashville debut.
