At 1:57 of the second period in the Wild/Islanders game, Anders Lee deflected the puck into the Minnesota net with his stick. Originally, the Referee deemed Lee tipped the puck into the net with a high stick. The officials on the ice huddled and after consultation with each other, it was determined that Lee's stick was below the height of the cross bar when he tipped the puck into the net. Video review supported the Referee's call on the ice. According to Rule 38.4 (vi) "The determining factor is where the puck makes contact with the stick in relation to the crossbar. If the puck makes contact with the portion of the stick that is at or below the level of the crossbar and enters the goal, this goal shall be allowed". Good goal New York.
