"I'll take that any given day," Rinne said. "That's a really solid game by us, solid defensively, solid offensively. Of course, sometimes it's nice to face a lot of shots and feel good, but I'll take this game any given day. I think it was 19 shots and not busy at all. It was perfect. It was fun to watch."

Forsberg returned after missing 11 games with an upper-body injury. The Predators (30-12-7) had a healthy lineup for the first time this season.
"I think we've been a great team all year, to be honest with you, with missing guys almost all the time and still managing to put up a lot of points and win a lot of games," Forsberg said. "I'm excited going forward."
Jonathan Quick made 31 saves for the Kings (27-19-5), who had won two in a row. Quick returned after missing two games with an undisclosed injury.
"We ended up chasing the puck and not getting in tough areas and allowing them to get in a lot of tough areas," Kings coach John Stevens said. "That's what happens when you lose a lot of puck battles. It was probably the mirror opposite of what we did [Tuesday] night [in a 3-0 win at the Dallas Stars]. They did it to us. We better learn from it. You're not going to beat good teams when you lose puck battles to that degree."
Craig Smith gave the Predators a 1-0 lead at 10:02 of the first period on the power play. Ryan Johansen took the original shot from the left face-off circle, and Smith beat Quick on the rebound for his 16th goal.
Forsberg made it 2-0 at 16:02 on a two-man advantage. Kevin Fiala passed the puck to Forsberg from behind the net, and he beat Quick for his 16th goal.
"It was good," Forsberg said. "Obviously a big win for the team, and I'm more than happy to help."
Calle Jarnkrok increased the lead to 3-0 at 17:21 when he intercepted a pass behind the net from Kings defenseman Drew Doughty and jammed the puck past Quick for his 11th goal.
