As the Sens conclude their 2-game trip through Florida tonight against the Lightning, here's a look at what you can expect from their line-up in Tampa Bay.

One change to the skaters has been confirmed and that's that Erik Burgdoerfer will be inserted into the line-up in place of Fredrik Claesson. Burgdoerfer's last appearance for the Sens was way back on January 23rd and head coach Guy Boucher sees tonight's contest, on the second half of a back-to-back, as a good opportunity to get him back into action.
"It's time now," said Boucher about inserting Burgdoerfer into the line-up. "We'll need fresh legs since it's a back-to-back. When you look at the bulk of our last 20 games, the only times that I think we didn't look at our best for 60 minutes were the back-to-back games."
"I wanted to put him in before but I just couldn't take anyone else out," Boucher continued. "Right now, this is the opportunity to do it and we'll see what he can do because this a good team we're playing tonight."
Of note upfront tonight, Alex Burrows will skate in his 900th career NHL game. Boucher recalls coaching against Burrows in Junior and remarked on the incredible transformation he went through to become an every game NHL player.
"There were a lot of players like him," Boucher said about Burrows' Junior days in Shawinigan. "He wasn't anything special that would make you think that this guy is going to the NHL so he actually built it all out of character and hard work."
Burrows was moved up the depth chart in the third period of last night's win against the Panthers and helped spark Jean-Gabriel Pageau's late goal to seal the victory so Boucher plans to start with that trio tonight in Tampa.
"We're going to start him tonight with Pageau and Ryan like I did yesterday when we scored that goal," said the coach about Burrows' 900th game. "I'll let him enjoy something special, especially from a guy that wasn't drafted."

The Sens didn't skate today but the coach did share what his forward lines should look like:
Dzingel - Duchene - Hoffman
Ryan - Pageau - Burrows
Paajarvi - Smith - Pyatt
McCormick - O'Brien - Gaborik
With Burgdoerfer replacing Claesson, I'm not really sure how the defence pairings will shake out tonight and instead of just slotting him Claesson's spot next to Karlsson and creating a mini-uproar on Sens Twitter...here's that silly gif of EK65 facewashing Matt Duchene last night...

One final note today, Boucher once again shared a little update on Mark Stone who remained in Ottawa for this road trip after suffering a lower body injury last weekend against the Flames.
"I was afraid for long-term," shared Boucher. "But it's not the knee, he just tweeked something and usually that kind of injury takes a long time. We got the proper tests done and right now it's more positive than negative. How long? I can't tell you. It could be a week, it could be two weeks but it doesn't look like it's going to be for the end of the season so hopefully we're able to see him back sooner rather than later."

In Goal

Mike Condon (4-13-5) gets the start in goal tonight against the Lightning as he looks to pick up his first win since February 1st. While the results haven't been there for Condon lately, his play has been much better in the second half of the season. In his last 10 appearances, Condon's save percentage (.916) and goals against average (2.80) are both up from his 2017-18 season average but his record over those games is just 1-8-1 which speaks to the lack of goal support he's received recently. In fact, in his last 5 starts the Sens have scored just 10 goals which would be tough sledding for any goalie.
