Only one change from Wednesday and that's the return of Alex Burrows who missed his first game of the season against the Rangers this week. To make room, Nick Paul will be the extra forward this evening.
With his game roster finalized, Sens head coach Guy Boucher shifts his attention to the elements tonight and it starts with rolling all of his forwards consistently over the course of the game.
"That's what we've been doing for the last month," shared Boucher with the media on Saturday. "We've been on the road and we've been going with four lines. Everybody has been playing so it doesn't really change anything."
Deployment isn't the only detail the coach will be paying attention to on the bench this evening and he identified the length of each shift as another potential threat to keeping his players warm.
"Shift length is also something you need to look for," Boucher said. "Short shifts so that you stay activated and the next guys stay activated."
