Facts and Figures: Bruins sweep homestand, extend point streak to 19

The Boston Bruins extended their point streak to 19 games (15-0-4) and swept a six-game homestand when David Krejci scored the go-ahead goal with 45 seconds remaining in the third period for
a 3-2 victory
against the Ottawa Senators at TD Garden on Saturday.

The Bruins are 42-17-9 and second in the Atlantic Division, four points ahead of the third-place Toronto Maple Leafs, thanks in part to a run that's tied for the 12th-longest point streak in NHL history and second-longest in their history behind 23 games from Dec. 22, 1940-Feb. 23, 1941 (15-0 with eight ties). Boston also swept a homestand of at least six games for the second time in its 95-year history (6-0-0 from Feb. 27-March 10, 2018) and has won 10 in a row on home ice for the 11th time and first since Oct. 25, 2008-Jan. 1, 2009 (14-0-0).
Krejci is the second Bruins player in as many games to score the winning goal in the final minute of the third period after Patrice Bergeron scored with 6.7 seconds left to defeat the Florida Panthers 4-3 on March 7. Boston is the fourth team in NHL history to score a winning goal in the final minute in consecutive games and first since the Detroit Red Wings from April 15-17, 2006.
Tuukka Rask (17 saves) is 16-0-3 with a 1.94 goals-against average, .929 save percentage and three shutouts in his past 19 games since Dec. 29. His NHL career high for consecutive games with at least one point is 21 set from Nov. 29, 2017-Feb. 2, 2018 (19-0-2).

Kucherov passes Lecavalier for Lightning single-season points record

Nikita Kucherov scored two goals for the Tampa Bay Lightning in
a 3-2 win
against the Red Wings at Amalie Arena for his NHL-best 109th and 110th points (33 goals, 77 assists) to break Vincent Lecavalier's single-season record (108 points; 52 goals, 56 assists in 2006-07) for most in team history.
The forward is the first player on any team with at least 110 points in a season since Henrik Sedin had 112 points (29 goals, 83 assists in 82 games) for the Vancouver Canucks in 2009-10 en route to winning the Art Ross Trophy. The Lightning (52-13-4), who clinched a berth in the 2019 Stanley Cup Playoffs on Friday, is 15 points ahead of the Bruins for most in the NHL.

Fleury passes Plante on wins list

Marc-Andre Fleury made 29 saves to help the Vegas Golden Knights extend their winning streak to six games with
a 6-2 victory
against the Canucks at Rogers Arena. The win was Fleury's 438th in the regular season, which passed Jacques Plante (437) for eighth place on the NHL list. His 34 victories lead all goalies while accounting for 89.5 percent of Vegas' wins, highest in the NHL.
The Golden Knights (38-26-5) are third in the Pacific Division, eight points behind the second-place Calgary Flames (41-20-7).

Grabner's shorthanded goal sparks Coyotes

The Arizona Coyotes (34-29-5) moved to within one point of the idle Minnesota Wild (33-28-8) for the second wild card into the playoffs from the Western Conference with
a 4-2 win
against the Los Angeles Kings at Gila River Arena. The Coyotes are 8-1-0 in their past nine games and vying for their first postseason appearance since 2011-12, when they advanced to the Western Conference Final.
Michael Grabner scored twice, including his NHL-leading fifth shorthanded goal. Arizona's 14 shorthanded goals is one from the franchise record set by the original Winnipeg Jets in 1988-89. Grabner is also two shorthanded goals from tying Dave McLlwain's single-season record by a Coyotes/Jets player set in 1989-90.
