"We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Jim Johannson today. His passion for hockey was extraordinary and he worked tirelessly to grow the game in the United States. Jim was a remarkable hockey ambassador who will be greatly missed here in the State of Hockey and throughout the hockey world. We send our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends and countless others in the hockey community with whom he made a special connection."
