WINNIPEG -- Winnipeg Jets defenseman Jacob Trouba will be a game-time decision against the Edmonton Oilers at MTS Centre on Sunday.

Trouba missed the 4-2 win against the Montreal Canadiens on Saturday because of an upper-body injury. Rookie Josh Morrissey made his NHL debut in his place.

Winnipeg did not have a morning skate Sunday, but Trouba skated.

"We'll see how [Trouba] comes to the rink [later Sunday]," coach Paul Maurice said. "We'll start with [Trouba] and move down the roster."

Goalie Ondrej Pavelec starts for the second consecutive game.

"I liked what I saw [Saturday]," Maurice said. "He didn't have a whole lot of work early. It's a good chance to get back in the net. He's had lots of rest this [season]."

Cam Talbot starts in net for Edmonton. Defenseman Adam Clendening replaces Nikita Nikitin. Coach Todd McLellan said there may be a lineup change among his forwards, but did not specify.

"We'll consider the forwards when we get an injury update after the [morning] skate here," McLellan said.

Rookie center Connor McDavid expects a tough finish to a four-game road trip (1-1-1).

"Any time you play Winnipeg, it's going to be a tough game," McDavid said. "They play a big, hard-nosed type of game. They certainly did that when we played back in Edmonton [on Feb. 13], so I think we expect something similar."
