Hutton to start against former team tonight

NASHVILLE - After three seasons with Nashville and plenty of fond memories, Blues goalie Carter Hutton said he's looking forward to facing his former club tonight.
"You look at the schedule - you obviously look at Nashville and I'm excited to come back," Hutton said. "A lot of close friends, a lot of fond memories - and seeing it was a back-to-back definitely allows me a (good) chance to play. It's going to be fun. I'm sure I'll hear a lot of fun stuff from the players, but once the puck drops, it'll be time to get back to business."

Hutton posted a 33-23-12 record in 75 games with Nashville. His stats as a Predator also include a 2.52 goals-against average, a .910 save-percentage and four shutouts.
Hutton, who backed up Nashville goalie Pekka Rinne for all three of his seasons with the Predators, is looking forward to facing his good friend tonight.
"It's going to be great. Obviously I wish he wasn't playing because I know how good he is," Hutton said. "But it's great being able to play against a guy that I consider one of my mentors. We had a pretty close relationship here and we still do."
"With a guy like 'Hutts,' you feel confident when he plays on the road because he's so darned competitive," Blues Head Coach Ken Hitchcock said. "This is obviously a big game for him, and he wants to play well. It's more important that we play well in front of him to get him off to a good start. He's played so well for us, now it's our turn to really step up for him."
