A young and likely future Philadelphia Flyers named Grant, who will be two years old in October, saw Gritty on the cover of "Philadelphia Magazine" and misidentified him in the cutest way possible. He called the Flyers mascot Cookie Monster.

Grant and his mother, Gabby, were in a local CVS store in Delaware County when they approached the magazine rack.
"I've pointed Gritty out to him before," Gabby, a long-time Flyers fan, told NHL.com. "I showed him the magazine and I said 'Look, Gritty!' and he repeated 'Gritty!' But then, when I went to take the video, he said 'Cookie Monster.'"
Unable to resist the cuteness, Gabby immediately sent the video to some family and friends, who could not have been surprised given Grant's favorite TV show.
"He loves 'Sesame Street.' We watch it every day," Gabby said.
Later Gabby shared it on Twitter, along with a winking apology to Gritty.
