Mascot hangs out on beach, makes a crab friend

Even mascots need a vacation.

And Gritty, after a big rookie season, is no different.

The Philadelphia Flyers furball decided to head to a popular spot: the Jersey Shore.

First there was some dirtbiking on the beach.

If you were wondering, his crustacean friend is named Claw'd as a play on Gritty's idol, Claude Giroux.
