The Vegas Golden Knights were shutout by the Dallas Stars, 1-0, in the opening game of the Western Conference Final on Sunday night at Rogers Place in Edmonton.
HOW IT WENT DOWN
Dallas opened the scoring in the first period as John Klingberg's goal gave the Stars a 1-0 lead. The Golden Knights were held to just four shots in the second period but put up 13 shots in the third period as they sought to tie the game. Anton Khudobin finished with 25 saves for the shutout victory. LOOKING AHEAD
Game 2 of the series is set for 5 p.m. PT Tuesday at Rogers Place as the Golden Knights look to even the series.
