We've got details on tonight's Love is Love Night, the Sens' projected line-up against the Hurricanes and more before our 7:30 p.m. start at Canadian Tire Centre.
Love is Love
The Sens are holding their first Love is Love Night tonight in support of the National Hockey League's Hockey Is For Everyone initiative in the month of February. The game will be hosted in conjunction with You Can Play which is a non-profit organization committed to supporting the LGBTQ community and fighting homophobia in sports and will feature several unique activations throughout the evening including special messages of inclusion and equality that will be integrated into the game presentation. The Senators organization also had a presence at last weekend's Captial Pride March as part of WinterPride with Anders Nilsson, Mark Borowiecki and general manager Pierre Dorion taking part in the festivities on Sunday afternoon. "It's so important to be inclusive across all communities and groups," said Borowiecki. "Our job on the ice is entertainment and about including everyone. It doesn't matter who you are...you're allowed to be a part of our team and our community and in turn we're going to support you too." Projected Line-up
Sens head coach Guy Boucher spoke with the media following today's morning skate and passed along that there were no changes expected for his line-up. Boucher will roll with the same 11 forwards and 7 defencemen he did in Saturday's 5-2 victory over the Winnipeg Jets as the Sens look to extend their current winning streak to 3 games. Darren Archibald has been recalled from Belleville and will act as the extra skater tonight against the Hurricanes.
Sens vs. Hurricanes – Coach Pre-game
One small wardrobe piece of news to pass your way as the Sens will wear their road white jerseys this evening versus Carolina. So if you're planning on coming to the game (please drive safe and allow yourself some extra time as a result of inclement weather btw) here's a great opportunity to sport your favourite white Senators jersey to Canadian Tire Centre. Here's a look at the projected forward lines and defence pairings for tonight's game: Dzingel - Duchene - Ryan Tkachuk - White - Stone Smith - Pageau - Paajarvi Balcers - Tierney Chabot - DeMelo Lajoie - Ceci Borowiecki - Harpur Jaros
In Goal
Anders Nilsson (9-12-1) has been fantastic over his last two starts and will once again get the nod in net for the Senators tonight against Carolina. Nilsson turned aside 89 of the last 91 shots he faced against the Ducks and Jets last week which jumped his save percentage up to an impressove .937 since joining the Senators in early January. He also holds a 4-1 win against the Hurricanes in Raleigh back on January 18th where he stopped all but one of the 34 shots he faced.

In other goalie news, Craig Anderson will not be available tonight after suffering an injury prior to Monday's practice at Canadian Tire Centre but is expected to join the Senators on their upcoming road trip. As a result, Filip Gustavsson has earned his first NHL recall from Belleville and will back-up Nilsson against Carolina.
