Brendan Gallagher scored two goals, Weal had a goal and an assist, and Brett Kulak scored for the Canadiens. Carey Price made 13 saves. Jonathan Ang had a goal and an assist, and Owen Tippett and Anthony Greco scored for the Panthers. Sam Montembeault made 42 saves. Montreal outshot Florida 46-17.
