At 17:06 of the third period in the Panthers/Flames game, Curtis Lazar tipped the puck into the Florida net with his stick. The officials on the ice huddled and after consultation with each other, determined that the puck was tipped in by a stick above the height of the cross bar. Video review supported the Referee's call on the ice that Curtis Lazar's stick was above the height of the cross bar when he tipped the puck into the Florida net. According to Rule 60.5 "An apparent goal scored by an attacking player who strikes the puck with his stick carried above the height of the crossbar of the goal frame shall not be allowed. The determining factor is where the puck makes contact with the stick."No goal Calgary.
