Dadonov played 55 games for the Panthers from 2009-12. The 28-year-old played the past four seasons in the Kontinental Hockey League, where this season he had 66 points (30 goals, 36 assists) in 53 games with St. Petersburg SKA.
The Panthers also have agreed to a one-year, $1.8 million contract with defenseman Alexander Petrovic, who has played the past five seasons for Florida.
