New York is 0-1-1 through the first two games; this will be the second of the three at the Coliseum. The Islanders lost to the Vegas Golden Knights 3-2 at Barclays Center on Wednesday.
It's the first of a three-game road trip for Detroit, which has lost five of its past seven games (2-4-1).
