DeAngelo

Each day this season, NHL.com's fantasy staff will provide daily picks for DraftKings NHL contests. This lineup has been constructed with expensive and value picks and should be used as a basis for your roster decision-making.

C - Anze Kopitar, LAK ($5,600)
Kopitar and the Los Angeles Kings visit the Detroit Red Wings, who are allowing the fourth-most DraftKings points to opposing centers. The Kings captain scored a goal on his only shot Tuesday at the Buffalo Sabres, giving him seven points and 24 SOG in 10 road games this season. He remains on Los Angeles' first power-play unit (four power-play points) and is a high-end center with a moderate price.
C - Bryan Little, WPG ($5,500)
Little is playing on the Winnipeg Jets' second line with elite goal-scoring rookie Patrik Laine of late, and has six points, three blocks and 15 SOG in his past seven games. The Florida Panthers have been outscored 21-11 in their past six games (1-3-2) and 49-36 on the road this season. Little has assists in back-to-back games.

W - Jason Spezza, DAL ($5,700)
Spezza was moved to the Dallas Stars' first line with Jamie Benn and Tyler Seguin on Tuesday against the Anaheim Ducks, and had one assist with one SOG in a 6-2 win. He has 10 points and 33 SOG in 13 home games this season (3.3 DraftKings points per game) and faces New York Rangers goalie Henrik Lundqvist, who could be rusty after sitting out their past four games in favor of backup Antti Raanta. Spezza has 33 points in 36 career games against the Rangers.
W - Dylan Larkin, DET ($5,500)
It's been a sophomore setback for Larkin this season, but he has shown signs of a potential bounce-back with 21 SOG in his past four games, including eight Tuesday against the Arizona Coyotes. Six of Larkin's nine goals have come at home, and it won't break your bank to invest in his mid-level price. He has also seen an uptick in power-play usage of late, scoring a power-play goal Dec. 9 and playing on the first unit with Frans Nielsen, Gustav Nyquist, Thomas Vanek and Mike Green in recent games.

W - William Nylander, TOR ($5,300)
Nylander is back on a line with fellow rookies Auston Matthews and Zach Hyman, and broke out for two assists, two SOG and one block Tuesday against the San Jose Sharks (5.5 DraftKings points). He was in a prolonged slump during the time separated from Matthews' line, but is still averaging 3.0 DraftKings points per game this season. He's in a good spot at home against the Coyotes, who are without top forward Max Domi because of injury and allowing the second-most DraftKings points to opposing right wings.
D - Kevin Shattenkirk, STL ($5,300)
Shattenkirk has quietly returned to form as a top-notch fantasy defenseman this season, scoring 21 points (T-3rd among 'D') in 30 games. He leads all defensemen in PPP (13) and has a respectable shot total (61). He has 13 points in 16 home games and is fresh off an impressive road showing against the Nashville Predators (one goal, one assist, four SOG for 7.0 DraftKings points).
D - Tony DeAngelo, ARI ($4,300)
When DeAngelo has been in the lineup, he has produced at an impressive rate. The rookie ranks eighth among defensemen in points per 60 minutes (1.79) and fifth in goals per 60 (0.67) among those with at least 10 games played. After a brief stint in Tucson of the American Hockey League, he is back with the Coyotes on the first power-play unit alongside Oliver Ekman-Larsson. He scored a power-play goal Tuesday in a 4-1 win against Detroit, meaning five of his eight points this season have come with the man-advantage.

G - Jake Allen, STL ($7,900)
Allen has been dominant at home this season; he's 10-0-2 with a .932 save percentage and one shutout. He has been a DFS liability on the road, but did win at the New Jersey Devils on Dec. 9, stopping 20 of 21 shots. If the Blues start Carter Hutton against New Jersey, the backup has also been reliable at Scottrade Center (2-1-1, .917 SV%) and is slightly cheaper ($7,800).
UTIL - Mike Fisher, NSH ($4,900)
Fisher has eight points in his past 10 games and has been an underrated fantasy performer with 16 in 24 games. He has 17 blocks and 46 SOG, and is tied for second on the Predators in PPP (eight), trailing fellow center Ryan Johansen (nine). The bulk of Fisher's production has come at home; he has 12 points in 11 games at Bridgestone Arena with an average of 3.3 DraftKings points per game.
