Marchand has adorable offseason workout partner in daughter Rue

Champions are made in the offseason.

And whether you want to be a Stanley Cup champion (again) or kindergarten gym class superstar, you have to prepare with intensity.

That's exactly what Florida Panthers forward Brad Marchand and his four-year-old daughter Rue were doing this week.

In a video shared to social media by Katrina Marchand, Brad and Rue get after it pretty hard in what appears to be the family's home gym.

The pair complete some some box jumps and side lunges in the video. And while the two-time Stanley Cup champion does a few oblique twists, Rue looks like she starts to train for a little tug-of-war.

Tough to see who is breaking more of a sweat, but the workout attire award definitely goes to Rue, who appears to be wearing a mermaid skeleton dress, which rules.

At this rate, both Marchand's should definitely see their hard work pay off this fall.
