The 27-year-old Knot registered 4-13-17 with 26 penalty minutes (PIM) in 49 regular season games with Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk (KHL) this season.
The Praha, CZ native also represented Czechia at the 2022 Winter Olympics where he recorded one assist and was plus-four in four games.
The 6-foot-4, 207-pound defenseman played parts of seven seasons in Czechia. He posted 5-11-16 with 36 PIM in 51 contests with Bílí Tygři Liberec in 2020-21 and 4-9-13 with 38 PIM in 50 games with the team in 2019-20. He had a career high in points with 6-11-17 and 18 PIM in 51 games with Piráti Chomutov in 2018-19.
Knot has totaled 19-38-57 with 203 PIM and a plus-13 rating in 266 career Czechia games. He has also collected 6-10-16 with 10 PIM in 37 career Czechia postseason contests.
