The 6-foot-3, 225-pound Jaškin registered 38-22-60 with 52 penalty minutes (PIM) in 59 regular season games with Dynamo Moskva of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) in 2020-21. He also posted 5-3-8 and 12 PIM in 10 postseason contests. Jaškin was recognized with the KHL's Top Sniper Award after leading the KHL in goals and with a Golden Helmet as one of the best five players in the League.
Jaškin has collected 69-54-123 with 127 PIM in 117 career KHL games over two seasons with Dynamo. He was named KHL MVP in 2019-20 after recording 31-32-63 in 58 games.
The 28-year-old winger has totaled 27-42-69, a plus-12 rating and 88 PIM in 303 career NHL games with the Washington Capitals and the St. Louis Blues. He also has three career power-play goals and five game-winning goals. Jaškin recorded an NHL career-high 13-5-18 with 16 PIM in 54 games with the Blues in 2014-15. He was originally drafted by the Blues in the second round (41st overall) in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft.
Jaškin has represented Czech Republic at several international tournaments including the 2011 U-18 World Junior Championship, as well as the 2012 and 2013 World Junior Championships. He led the Czech Republic with 3-3-6 at the 2013 World Junior Championship.
Jaškin played in seven games for the Czech Republic at the 2018 World Championship and recorded 4-3-7, which was tied for the team lead. He registered 2-2-4 in 10 contests with Czech Republic at the 2019 World Championship.
