Blue Jackets team scope

The Columbus Blue Jackets are one point behind the New York Rangers for third place in the Metropolitan Division and play their first game on the road since Feb. 7 following a season-high seven-game homestand. The Blue Jackets are 16-7-4 away from home. "We haven't been on the road in a little while," captain Nick Foligno told the Blue Jackets website Saturday. "I think it will be nice to be together again and find a way to get some big wins that we need. Every day is another opportunity for us to move up in the standings or continue to play well and that has to be our focus." Goalie Sergei Bobrovsky will start after backup Joonas Korpisalo made 24 saves in a 7-0 win against the New York Islanders on Saturday. "We played well," coach John Tortorella said. "A lot of things went our way tonight. ... It's only one win and it's only for a few hours. We have another big one tomorrow."

Rangers team scope

The Rangers can tie the Pittsburgh Penguins, in terms of points, for second place in the division with a win. Goalie Henrik Lundqvist will start after Antti Raanta made 35 saves in a 4-3 overtime win against the New Jersey Devils on Saturday. Lundqvist is 10-2-1 with a 1.91 goals-against average and a .939 save percentage in his past 14 games and has allowed two goals or fewer in 10 of those games. New York is 9-1-1 in its past 11 games and 5-0-1 in its past six at Madison Square Garden. The Rangers allowed three goals in less than three minutes against the Devils before rallying for the win. "We battled hard. ... It's a big two points for us, and we are going to get ready for tomorrow" coach Alain Vigneault told the Rangers website after the game.
