Ward paces Blackhawks past Blue Jackets

Seabrook, Anisimov, Saad, Kane score for Chicago

Cam Ward made 16 saves, and the Chicago Blackhawks defeated the Columbus Blue Jackets 4-1 at United Center.

Brent Seabrook, Artem Anisimov, Brandon Saad and Patrick Kane scored, and Erik Gustafsson had two assists for the Blackhawks.
Seabrook gave Chicago a 1-0 lead on the power play at 8:49 of the first period, and Anisimov made it 2-0 at 16:53.
Saad extended the lead to 3-0 at 8:23 of the second period, and Kane made it 4-0 at 12:03.
Kevin Stenlund brought the Blue Jackets within 4-1 with a power-play goal 9:20 into the third period.
Joonas Korpisalo started for Columbus and made 23 saves on 27 shots in 35:17. J-F Berube stopped all nine shots he faced.
