Nashville Predators forward Colton Sissons made NHL history with his first hat trick in the League during a 6-1 win at the Tampa Bay Lightning on Thursday.

He became the first player in NHL history to score at least three goals in a game with the second goal coming on an empty net and the third being scored on a goalie. Sissons' unique accomplishment was worthy of celebration. Fortunately for him, a generous Predators fan at Amalie Arena was willing to share in the moment by parting with his hat.

The 23-year-old was beaming afterward.
