NEW YORK - -Chicago Blackhawks defenseman Calvin de Haan has been fined $2,500 for a dangerous trip against Montreal Canadiens forward Cole Caufield during NHL Game No. 655 in Chicago on Thursday, Jan. 13, the National Hockey League's Department of Player Safety announced today.

The incident occurred at 6:22 of the third period.
The money goes to the Players' Emergency Assistance Fund.
