Juuse Saros made 23 saves for the Nashville Predators in a 4-3 win against the Carolina Hurricanes in the preseason finale for each team at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville on Saturday.
Roman Josi, Yakov Trenin and Filip Forsberg scored second-period goals for the Predators, who open the regular season against the Seattle Kraken on Thursday. David Rittich (11 saves) replaced Saros to start the third period. Jordan Martinook, Ethan Bear and Stefan Noesen scored, and Frederek Andersen made 13 saves for the Hurricanes, who begin the season against the New York Islanders on Thursday.
