The St. Louis Cardinals had their annual Rookie Dress Up Day, where any player new to the team has to wear a themed outfit usually picked by one of the veteran players.
This year's theme was the Cardinals hockey-playing bretheren, the Blues.
The Cardinals tweeted a picture of of rookies Daniel Poncedelon, Jordan Hicks, Jack Flaherty, Tyler Webb and Jose Garcia in full hockey uniforms.

Catcher Carson Kelly had an easy transition as he donned the goalie gear. Mask, catching glove, pads, it's all pretty much the same.

Outfielder Tyler O'Neill a native of Burnaby, Canada, was also dressed to take a shift.

Cardinals infielder Matt Carpenter shared some more pictures from the team plane.

It could have been worse. At least they didn't have to walk on the ground on skates.
