Hellebuyck's Team USA mask shows off home state of Michigan, bald eagle

Connor Hellebuyck's goalie mask for the Olympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026 is so American, it's surprising it's not made out of apple pie.

The Team USA goalie will wear a custom painted mask made by EyeCandyAir and features some eye-popping art.

Hellebuyck's mask features Team USA's shield on the chin and stars and stripes across the top.

The right side features a swooping bald eagle, while the left has a bit more personal touch with a large mouth bass as the Winnipeg Jets goalie is an avid fisherman.

The backplate shows off Hellebuyck's home state of Michigan, including the Upper Peninsula, with stars and stripes covering the state.

Hellebuyck was born and raised in Commerce Township, Michigan.
