Braden Holtby supports equality, marches in Capital Pride Alliance parade

Washington Capitals goalie Braden Holtby was among the crowd that turned out for Capital Pride Alliance's 2017 Parade in Washington D.C. on Saturday afternoon.

Holtby, accompanied by wife Brandi, showed
support for the LGBTQ community
just as he did in 2016.

Holtby posed for pictures with fans throughout the event.

Natasha Cloud and Ivory Latta of the WNBA's Washington Mystics also marched in the event, as did cheerleaders from the Capitals and NBA's Washington Wizards.

Holtby and others were lauded on social media by parade goers.

It was a a busy day for Capitals players, as forward Justin Williams became a naturalized citizen of the United States.
