Grubauer, Hellberg combine for 3-0 shutout victory

SEATTLE - Shane Wright, the No. 4 pick in the 2022 NHL Draft, made his NHL debut for the Seattle Kraken in a 3-0 win against the Calgary Flames at Climate Pledge Arena on Tuesday.

The 18-year-old center had three shots on goal in 13:34 of ice time.
"First experience was a lot of fun," Wright said. "Definitely a pretty cool experience and something I've been looking forward to for basically my entire life. It took a little adjustment at first… I'm really happy overall result."

, Jaden Schwartz and Andrew Poturalski scored for Seattle (2-0-0). Philip Grubauer started and made 10 saves in 30:37. Magnus Hellberg made 15 saves to close out the Kraken's second shutout in as many games.
Dan Vladar made 32 saves for Calgary (2-1-0).
Sprong scored at 12:30 of the second period to give Seattle a 1-0 lead. Schwartz made it 2-0 with a goal at 17:01. Poturalski scored into an empty net with 54 seconds left for the 3-0 final.
