The Anaheim Ducks will likely get their captain back Friday. Center Ryan Getzlaf took line rushes at the morning skate after sitting out a 6-1 win against Nashville Predators on Wednesday. Getzlaf was hit with a shot in San Jose on Tuesday. "He'll take warmups but all indications look like, unless he has a setback, he should be available to us," coach Randy Carlyle said. Getzlaf, who was not available for comment, was one of three players to skate at an optional practice Thursday and said he felt good after coming off the ice. Getzlaf centered the top line with Nick Ritchie and Corey Perry at the morning skate. "It's like always, a matter of how it reacts," Getzlaf said Thursday. "I pushed it a little bit today so it's a matter of what happens in the morning." Forward Jared Boll, who played 518 games during nine seasons with Columbus before his contract was bought out this summer, will face his former team for the first time. He said he expected any nerves to dissipate by puck drop but was excited to see his old teammates. "It's a little different," Boll said. "They're in a spot where they're in the fifth game of their road trip and I'm sure they're trying to end on a good note, so we know they're going to come hard. I can't really look at it any different than with any other team."
