Raisman

The Boston Bruins called on a world champion to hype the TD Garden crowd before Game 2.

Aly Raisman, a six-time Olympic medal-winning gymnast and Needham, Massachusetts native, was the Bruins fan banner captain before Boston's Eastern Conference Second Round game against the Columbus Blue Jackets on Saturday.

Raisman, who won three combined gold medals in the 2012 London Olympics and 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympics, waved the Bruins flag alongside Danny Miller, a 40-year Special Olympics Massachusetts veteran, who played floor hockey for 30 years. They joined fellow Boston sports stars

Raisman wasn't the only Boston icon honored before the game. The Bruins also had a pregame tribute to ex-Celtics legend John Havlicek, who died Thursday at 79.
