WHEELER MOVES PAST LITTLE
Blake Wheeler is set to achieve another milestone this evening as he will play in his 844th game with the Jets/Thrashers franchise and that will move him out of a tie with Bryan Little. Wheeler has played 413 of the 843 games at Canada Life Centre, which is the most by any NHL player in league history. Wheeler and Little are the only two players in franchise history to play in 800 games for the franchise. The Minnesota product is 10th among active NHL players with 41 career points (10G, 31A) against Dallas.

BETTER START
The opening 20 minutes on the road have been challenging for the Jets. Over the last six contests away from Canada Life Centre, they've been outscored 9-4 and outshot 77-37 in the first period. Pierre-Luc Dubois feels the Jets have to be more aggressive from the drop of the puck and used the 6-1 loss at Minnesota Wednesday night as an example.
"We knew that Minnesota would come out strong, they always do at home," said Dubois after morning skate in Dallas.
"We have to do a better job of getting shots and establishing our forecheck and we can go at teams and not just wait and see how the other team is going to play."
LINE JUGGLING
Rick Bowness moved his top two centres during the game in the Jets opener of their three-game road trip putting Pierre-Luc Dubois with Kyle Connor and Sam Gagner and Mark Scheifele with Cole Perfetti and Blake Wheeler. Those two lines will begin the night together against the Stars in hopes of pulling within four points of first place Dallas with a win tonight. Bowness didn't stop there as he moved Jansen Harkins and Mikey Eyssimont up with Adam Lowry as he has been happy with Harkins and Eyssimont's play the last two games.
