The New York Islanders defeated the Columbus Blue Jackets 4-3 in overtime on Saturday night at UBS Arena. The Islanders never led in the game until they'd won, but they managed to pull even every time the Blue Jackets scored.
Zach Parise had the game-winner less than a minute into overtime. Brock Nelson also scored twice for the Islanders, and Scott Mayfield scored the game-tying goal late in the third period. Emil Bemstrom, Cole Sillinger and Marcus Bjork scored for the Blue Jackets.
