Final

The New York Islanders picked up a point, but fell 3-2 in a shootout to the Chicago Blackhawks on Sunday night at UBS Arena.
Noah Dobson sent the game into overtime with his goal in the last three seconds of regulation, while Jean-Gabriel Pageau scored on the power play. Semyon Varlamov made 24 saves on 26 shots.

Brandon Hagel scored a power-play goal while Dylan Strome scored at even strength. Marc-Andre Fleury made 22 saves on 24 shots for the Blackhawks.

6:49 - CHI 1, NYI 0, PPG -Brandon Hagel, who drew the initial hooking penalty on Scott Mayfield, redirected Alex DeBrincat's shot on the power play to give Chicago a 1-0 lead. DeBrincat and Seth Jones earned assists on the goal.
Second Period:
8:03 - NYI 1, CHI 1, PPG -Jean-Gabriel Pageau redirects a point shot from Sebastian Aho on the power play to tie the score up 1-1. Aho and Mathew Barzal recorded assists.
Third Period:
5:59 - CHI 2, NYI 1 -Dylan Strome beat Semyon Varlamov's glove side with a one timer from the high slot to give Chicago a 2-1 lead. Alex DeBrincat and Erik Gustafsson picked up the assists.
19:57 - NYI 2, CHI 2 - Noah Dobson sent the game into overtime as he beat Marc-Andre Fleury with a shot from distance. Mathew Barzal and Anders Lee tallied assists.
