The New York Islanders five-game road trip ended with a 5-3 loss to the Colorado Avalanche on Tuesday night at Ball Arena.
Ryan Pulock, JG Pageau and Kyle Palmieri scored for the Islanders, who finish their road trip with a 2-2-1 record.
The Islanders led 3-2 heading into the third period, but three-straight goals from Gabriel Landeskog, Andre Burakovsky and Erik Johnson (ENG) propelled the Avalanche to the comeback win. Nathan MacKinnon and former Islander Devon Toews (1G, 2A) also scored for Colorado.
