Dal Colle

Michael Dal Colle skated on his own on Monday, as he's working to get back up to speed, according to Islanders Head Coach Barry Trotz. Dal Colle has been out since March 27 with a lower-body injury and will not suit up on Tuesday.
"He's still getting up to speed, so he will not play tomorrow," Trotz said of Dal Colle, who has four points (1G, 3A) in 20 games this season.

Mat Barzal was named the NHL's
First Star of the Week
on Monday afternoon, earning the honor after recording seven points (3G, 4A) in three games last week, including a five-point night against Washington.
Barzal had previously been named the NHL's Second Star of the Week twice in his career, on
Dec. 24, 2017
and
Dec. 31, 2018
, respectively.
"It is nice to be recognized for having a good week," Barzal said. "Every week on Instagram or Twitter I get to see the three stars of the week and their highlights. I haven't been the first star in my career, so it's kind of cool for me. It's nothing crazy, but it's a nice feather in the cap I guess."
Barzal leads the Islanders with 34 points (13G, 21A) in 38 games and has nine points (4G, 5A) on his current four-game point streak.
