EISERMAN RECORDS HIGHLIGHT-REEL ASSIST ON GAME-WINNER

Cole Eiserman notched three points (2G, 1A) in three games in his last three games for Boston University.

Eiserman, who was drafted by the New York Islanders 20th overall in the 2024 NHL Draft, dialed up a sensational assist on the eventual game-winning goal, passing the puck through his legs on the rush, to put BU up 4-1 against the University of New Hampshire. He also scored a goal of his own in the contest with an empty netter with 18 seconds remaining to make it 5-3.

Kamil Bednarik, who was the Islanders’ second-round (61st overall) selection in the 2024 NHL Draft, earned a secondary assist on the game-winner.

His two-point (1G, 1A) performance in Saturday’s win earned him BU’s red football helmet as one of the Terrier’s players of the game.

Earlier in the week, Eiserman and BU faced Boston College at of TD Garden on Monday. In a 6-2 loss for BU, Eiserman hit the scoresheet with a one-timer on the power-play.

Eiserman ranks second on the team with 20 points (13G, 7A) this season. His 13 goals lead the Terriers, and the 19-year-old has found the back of the net in three of his last four outings.

AITCHESON’S THREE-POINT GAME

Kashawn Aitcheson recorded three points (3A) in the Barrie Colts’ 6-3 victory over the Kingston Frontenacs in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) on Thursday.

Aitcheson, who was drafted by the Islanders in the first round (17th overall) of the 2025 NHL Draft, got a primary helper on the Colts’ first goal of the game, which came on the power play. Aitcheson was credited with a pair of secondary assists on back-to-back goals in the third period, including the eventual game-winning goal that made it 4-2.

The 19-year-old ranks second on the Colts with 21 points (12G, 9A) in the 2025-26 campaign.

Aitcheson has five points (5A) in his last two games and ranks third on the team with 53 points (22G, 31A) this season. He needs six points to tie his career-high point total (59) from a season ago.

KVASNICKA EXTENDS GOAL STREAK TO FOUR GAMES

Jacob Kvasnicka scored in two straight games in a four-point (3G, 1A) week for the Penticton Vees in the Western Hockey League (WHL).

Kvasnicka, who the Islanders selected in the seventh round (202nd overall) of the 2025 NHL Draft, potted his 31st goal of the season on Friday in a 3-2 SO loss to the Vancouver Giants but earned second star of the game.

Kvasnicka sported a three-point performance (2G, 1A) in a 5-3 win over the Victoria Royals on Saturday night and earned first star honors. It marked his sixth multi-goal outing of the season and extended his goal streak to four games, with six goals over that span.

Kvasnicka is tied for the most power-play goals (10) on the season, and he leads the team in scoring with 71 points (33G, 38A) in his rookie season. He is the only skater on the Vees and the second WHL rookie with more than 30 goals in the campaign.
